Best Chapter Of My Life.

As promised, my final blog post will be in English to eliminate the google translate need of my international friends, who have been the biggest part of my time in Prague. Using this small post I am shortly looking back on my time in Prague and it will be intended to thank everybody being part of this amazing semester.
It still feels like yesterday. August 29th, the Friday I was picked up by Eliška, Štěpánka and Marek. Arriving at the incredibly ugly Jarov III F building was not the best way to start off my semester. A receptionist unable to understand a single word of English and only able to follow the seemingly super strict procedures to check in. I know my handwriting is not the best out there but she made me feel really self-conscious about every capital letter I wrote, lower case letters were not even an option. After the check in was done, it was time to move up towards my room. I got the keys of F 561 and the first impression the building made on me so far, put away all of my hopeful expectations. The necessity of becoming good friends with my roommates would be huge. The room was actually scarily empty and feeling like a communistic bombing shelter. Oh well, the language course would start shortly which would mean there were coming enough distractions and friends for me to enjoy my time with.
Since the start of the language course, I knew my time in Prague would be the best ever. All of my fears of me being the youngest little baby boy, not fitting into a group of older ‘more mature people’, were swept off the table. Everybody got a long perfectly and everybody’s attitude towards this semester seemed equal: “Meet as many people possible and enjoy every single little second of it.” And so, that was exactly what I did.
From the ISLC group to start off with, on to my roommates which I became really good friends with, finally meeting my buddy (who turned out to be the best buddy ever), finding a big group of guys with the same love for football as I have, partying four or five times a week with my Hangover friends and traveling with a lot of different people. All of the amazing people I have met, I want to sincerely thank you. My time in Prague could not have turned out in a better way and that is all because of you.
So so excited to have Gabi and Marvin visit me coming week and Davis the week after. Can not wait to reunite with my friends and to show them all of the things my cute little country has to offer.
